Is it possible to be camera-shy anymore? Growing up, I would shriek and hide at the sight of a camera pointing my way, preferring a scowl over a smile. Not so these little ones, who are fully immersed in the age of self-celebration and social broadcasting. Perhaps we're to blame? We've been pointing cameras at them from birth, so much they just freeze as soon as we bring a camera up. I mean, just look at that ham.
What do you get the father of your children on his special day? I must admit, I'm not really into commercial products (unless it's for myself), preferring something more sentimental. And as always, my best works happens when I am panicked and short of time. How do you orchestrate a shoot with two unpredictable children? Take them separately. The final product captures their personality perfectly: One, who is always exuberant, if overly so, and the other who is often the unwilling accomplice. A special Father's Day present to my love, who is adored and much loved. A Rock Star Daddy!
