Knits for all

Decided this is the year I make hand knits cowls for Christmas. I got a head start this summer for Tanya's and Mimi's birthday gifts last month, thanks to (free!) inspiring goodies on Ravelry. Stay warm and stylish!

Popsicle party!

Owen is turning five. I'm not going to wax nostalgia about how fast my baby is growing and how I just want to hold on to him forever. I have a feeling he'll still be living in my basement when he's 40.

Having a summer baby means we get to celebrate outdoors and enjoy the sun. Owen is a waterpark enthusiast, so it only makes sense we do a party at one. I could've done it electronically, but I love getting printed invites. There's just something about getting something in the mail (except speeding tickets). We painted some watercoloured popsicles over the weekend. Printed the details on the backside and glued it all together with a popsicle stick, and voila!
